Isabel was born on the mainland of Australia in Melbourne. Her dad is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. The family spent a lot of time within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru an Australian mining town and Cairns. With her sister Nina her schooling was in schools where First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been a part of drama since her school days. She went on to study drama at The Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and also lately, she studied her studies in the PEM method Perdekamp Emotional Method. Her agent in 2002 discovered that she had never performed in a play before. She was auditioning for a role in Home and Away, 1988. The producers felt she wasn't suitable for the role, but were sufficiently impressed and created a new role for her Tasha. In her 3 year stint as the first time she appeared on TV the actress was awarded a Logie Award. Isabel moved from the city of London in 2008 to Los Angeles in 2008. Her debut came in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. She has since starred in many US as well as Australian film productions and won several awards. Isabel starred recently as Bosh in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy the film which is rapidly becoming an Australian iconic. Isabel also starred in the forthcoming film Lunacy. Isabel has just completed Sons of Summer. In production, she'll be playing Marie Curie as part of Radiant. The film is being written and directed by award-winning Annika Glc. Isabel is a fervent advocate of animal rights, and has volunteered with many environmental groups. Isabel has served as a PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) for ten years, up until 2020. Isabel popular for her environmental commitments and dedication to ethical and social justice values, was the face of and brand ambassador for several cosmetics and fashion campaigns.
